CAPE People Development has been recognised as the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Workplace Champion, celebrating our commitment to creating thriving, human-centred workplaces that enable sustainable business growth.
The award highlights our ongoing work helping founder and owner-led organisations scale successfully by unlocking the full potential of their people. Based in Solihull and Manchester, we are proud of our strong connection to the local business community and our contribution to regional growth.
Creating better workplaces
CAPE has partnered with more than 25 organisations, supporting over 300 leaders and managers through tailored leadership and people development programmes. Our work includes:
- Founder-to-leader transitions that empower business owners to lead strategically.
- Senior leadership development to strengthen communication, accountability, and decision-making.
- Management and culture programmes that build alignment, engagement, and wellbeing across teams.
These programmes deliver measurable results, from increased leadership confidence and improved collaboration to stronger business performance. Clients such as Human8, Prime Accountants, NUCO and other regional SMEs have achieved meaningful growth and cultural progress through our partnership.
Extending impact into the community
Through our Coaching Conversations for Good programme, CAPE has delivered more than 600 hours of free coaching to individuals from local charities including Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid, Saathi House, and Refugees & Mentors. Over 70 participants have taken part, with 77% reporting greater confidence and 85% identifying new skills and strengths that improved their work effectiveness.
To date, more than £30,000 worth of development support has been provided through this initiative, extending the impact of leadership development beyond business and into the community.
Recognition and growth
CAPE’s recognition as Solihull’s Workplace Champion reflects both our client impact and our commitment to people-centred growth. Alongside this regional award, CAPE recently has also been shortlisted for two British Training Awards and a Learning Excellence Award, acknowledging the quality and innovation of our leadership and culture development programmes.
Building Solihull’s future workplaces
CAPE continues to engage with the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and the wider business community through initiatives such as Growth Through People and Solihull Business at Breakfast.
