The context

Like many founder-led, growing businesses, Jask has experienced the natural tensions that come with success. As client demand increases and the team grows, the ways of working that once felt instinctive can start to stretch. Decision making becomes more complex. Communication needs to evolve. Expectations rise. 

Founder led organisations often rely heavily on pace, trust and shared history. These strengths fuel growth, but without conscious development they can also create friction, unspoken assumptions and pressure points across teams. 

Jask recognised early that if their sports clients invest in coaching to improve performance, clarity and results, the same thinking should apply internally. Business teams, like sports teams, perform best when conversations are honest, focused and well led.

The challenge 

Jask wanted to continue growing without losing what made them successful in the first place. They needed support that would:

  • strengthen leadership capability as the business scaled 
  • help teams navigate pressure and fast paced delivery without unnecessary tension 
  • create clarity around roles, expectations and decision making

Over several years we have worked alongside Jask using coaching as a way to shape conversations across the business. 

Executive coaching 
Working with the Managing Director to support strategic thinking, leadership impact and the shift from founder led delivery to founder led leadership. This created space for reflection, clearer decision making and more confident leadership conversations. 

Team coaching 
Supporting teams to talk about the things that matter. How they collaborate under pressure. How they challenge ideas without challenging people. How they replace unhelpful tension with healthy debate and shared ownership. Through leadership coaching, team coaching and one-to-one support, we helped strengthen the quality of conversations across the business.

One to One coaching 
Individual coaching for leaders and team members to build self-awareness, resilience and confidence. This enabled people to show up more clearly in client conversations and internal discussions alike. 

Rather than introducing new frameworks for the sake of it, coaching focused on improving the quality of everyday conversations. The ones that drive performance, trust and delivery.
